"Cruising For The Cause" is a one or two day event featuring a car show, bike show, arts and crafts , consumer and health fair as well as music , food and much more. The event is hosted by The Johnny O Foundation (only national foundation to link Alzheimer’s, Dementia and TBI ).
This appreciation week, 5/18 – 5/25 2015 is dedicated to all Senior Golfers and their families and will take place the week of Memorial Day weekend. In most of the country with Arizona, Florida and the desert areas of California and Nevada will be holding the week for Seasonal Seniors, March 9th - 16th 2015.
Johnny O is John R. ORavitz. John was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA on 6/9/1928. His roots were German and his up bringing was in a very hard working ethnic family. He attended GAR High School in Wilkes-Barre. He ran track and was the captain of the debate team. John passed away January 31st 2015

Our national mission is to educate the American public as to the growing seriousness of Alzheimer’s, Dementia and Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI) in the American population by raising the necessary donations through strategic research initiatives and heightened public awareness to accomplish our objectives.

History of Alzheimer's
Alzheimer’s was first found by a Dr. Alois Alzheimer’s in 1906 in Germany. One of the doctors patients had died after years of having problems with their loss of memory and confusion.
